Services Provided:

• Developmental Services (birth to age 5) can be accessed by children who live in Fulton, Montgomery or Saratoga counties with a developmental disability or delay in need of in-home services. Ages are for birth to 3 and 3-5.
• Early Intervention Services (birth to age 3) include Special Education, PT; OT; Speech; MSW; RD; and service coordination. Preschool (age 3- 5) Services include PT; OT; Speech; Special Education and Psychology.

Services Provided:
We provide the following services in Albany, Amsterdam, Cobleskill, Greenport, Schenectady and Schoharie: Comprehensive Evaluations. Children, from birth to age 5, may receive comprehensive evaluations to determine their eligibility for Early Intervention and Preschool Services, and to help determine which services will benefit the child. Early Intervention Services: Children, from birth to age 3, with disabilities or at risk of developing disabilities may receive services at home or in community settings, such as day care. Self- Contained Preschool Classes Children: ages 3- 5, receive services in preschool classrooms. Services are also delivered through community based schools, in childcare settings or at home.

• Supplemental Early Intervention Evaluations, Speech-Language therapy, specializing in autism spectrum disorders and feeding therapy.
• Occupational Therapy, specializing in Sensory Integration techniques.
• Physical Therapy, specializing in Sensory Integration techniques.
• Services are provided in the child’s home, daycare, or preschool program.

Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Registered Dietician, Social Work, Respiratory Therapy, Home Health Aide, Wound Care and Diabetes Education. Services may be accessed through Fulton County Public Health.

• Early Intervention (Birth through 2 years): Services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families including special education, physical, occupational and speech therapy, medical social work, registered dietician, service coordination.
• Preschool services (3-5 years): Services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, special education, psychological services.

Fulton Co. Public Health contracts with Community Health Center, The Center for Disability Services, Fulton Co. Nursing Services, Lexington Center and the school systems for provision of services.
