The Sacandaga Task Force for Senior Living is an independent Task Force of citizens interested in developing or attracting Senior Living services and facilities to our area. We are a grassroots effort dedicated to community enhancement and the well-being of our Adirondack society. As citizens at the beginning of a long process, there is much more that we don't know than we do know, but we believe that what we are proposing is both important and timely, and this knowledge has energized our work and given us hope for its positive conclusion.

The following are the purposes for which the Organization has been organized: 1) To establish and provide affordable housing for senior citizens and senior Living facilities for the general welfare and benefit of the public, including but not Limited to purchasing and owning real estate; providing services in connection with the management, maintenance and repair of any such housing; providing other services that may be necessary in connection with establishing housing and facilities for senior citizens. 2) To attract or develop senior services that will help seniors who wish to remain in their own homes.
